Want more Touch?
Do you understand the importance of touch in your life?
Hi, my name is John Meluso, I have the great pleasure to remind you of the importance of "Touch " an understanding that will enhance your life guaranteed.
Life is to be enjoyed!
Touch more and Enjoy more!
Over thirty years ago, Denny Johnson wrote “Touch Starvation in America – A Call to Arms!” In his remarkable book, “What the Eye Reveals”, Denny found that one particular processing style starved in the world. Many people in the US and even more so in the world processed life, not by what they saw and thought about, not by what they heard and felt emotionally, but more by what their body physically felt. Touch is their food, just like art and music feed those of visual and auditory processing styles. Kinesthetic people starved without touch. This is even truer now, than it was in 1985.
Now is the time to eliminate the famine of Touch Starvation! Understand the importance of touch and begin to change the touch famine to a touch feast! What keeps you from touching or being touched? Do you know the value of touch? Would you like creative ways to add touch in your life?
Kinesthetic is the world’s most dominant hidden language and the most misunderstood in the United States. Close to 80% of the world’s population, use the kinesthetic hidden language. Understanding that communication style, especially in relation to your own hidden language is a key for greater peace individually and collectively. Respect is vital to the kinesthetic hidden language. What is respect to you?
Would you like more respect from everyone?
Would you like more Touch?
Aretha Franklin sang about RESPECT. RESPECT is vital to the kinesthetic hidden language and unfortunately, the other languages do not understand the definition of RESPECT, let alone be able to demonstrate it. Additionally, demonstrations of RESPECT differ between generations and certainly between different cultures of kinesthetic language people. These Kinesthetic people starve by the lessening of touch in our society. Now, instead of reporting a disaster of starvation, we utter a simple, respectful plea, Touch, Please!
Touch, Please! Understanding the Value of Touch, by Denny Johnson playfully, and informatively shares the tools to understand and encourage more Touch.
The Kinesthetic hidden language is often diagnosed as Attention Deficit Order (ADD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Unfortunately, the medical community not understanding the blessing this hidden language style offers, prescribes drugs to modify the perfectly normal behaviors of people with this processing style. Or the Kinesthetic person not being understood self-medicates with alcohol, sugar or other drugs to alter their moods.
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a
listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all
of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
How do you know if Touch is your food?

Have you ever said, I am too sensitive? Or known someone that feels that way? Have you ever felt you received less respect than you offer? Do you ever feel hungry for touch?
The world is full of confusion and contradiction. We cannot expect to do anything that is absolutely right. We can only measure rightness by the truth within ourselves. And our own truth will never be quite the same as somebody else's. I wish that I could touch you and be sure that it was the right thing to do. I only want to touch you briefly. Just once so that you will know. We are flesh and blood and full of faults. But we are also full of warmth. The world is full of confusion but there is compassion in its midst. communication via simple touch can transmit so much of us in just one minute. Like a painting or a piece of music. I want to touch your soul. I only wish I could be sure it was the right thing to do.”

Whether you prefer Ashley Montagues's 1971 "Touching: the Human Significance of the Skin" - David Linden's 2015 "Touch: The Science of Hand, Heart, and Mind." - Scientific importance of touch is proven!
Johns Hopkins neuroscientist and bestselling author of The Compass of Pleasure David J. Linden presents an engaging and fascinating examination of how the interface between our sense of touch and our emotional responses affects our social interactions as well as our general health and development. Accessible in its wit and clarity, Touch explores scientific advances in the understanding of touch that help explain our sense of self and our experience of the world.
From skin to nerves to brain, the organization of the body’s touch circuits powerfully influences our lives—affecting everything from consumer choice to sexual intercourse, tool use to the origins of language, chronic pain to healing. Interpersonal touch is crucial to social bonding and individual development. Linden lucidly explains how sensory and emotional context work together to distinguish between perceptions of what feels good and what feels bad. Linking biology and behavioral science, Linden offers an entertaining and enlightening answer to how we feel in every sense of the word.
Your brain pays wildly disproportionate attention to touch on different parts of your body! - David Linden
"There are two touch systems," Linden says. "One that gives the 'facts' — the location, movement, and strength of a touch — and we call that discriminative touch."
"But then there's the emotional touch system. It's mediated by special sensors called C tactile fibers, and it conveys information much more slowly. It's vague — in terms of where the touch is happening — but it sends information to a part of the brain called the posterior insula that is crucial for socially-bonding touch. This includes things like a hug from a friend, to the touch you got as a child from your mother, to sexual touch."
"It's not just a different kind of information that's conveyed by the same sensors in the skin that allow you to feel a quarter in your pocket. It's a completely different set of sensors and nerve fibers that wind up in a different part of your brain."
"You can't turn off touch. It never goes away," says David Linden, a neurobiologist at Johns Hopkins and author of the new book Touch: The Science of Hand, Heart, and Mind.

Touch is mysteriously crucial for a baby's development
"The best examples of this come from Romanian orphanages after Ceaușescu's fall, when there just weren't enough people around to take care of babies. They were barely touched during the day," Linden says.
"These kids didn't just have a host of emotional problems — though they were depressed and had high instances of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other issues — but they also had a whole raft of physical ailments. They had weakened immune systems, and skin ailments."
"THEY HAD WEAKENED IMMUNE SYSTEMS AND SKIN AILMENTS"
"Other research has confirmed this phenomenon. We're not entirely sure why it happens, but it seems that early touch experience is extraordinarily important for development both cognitive function and a healthy body."
"This is why, nowadays, when premature infants are born and put in isolators, they're taken out for a few hours a day, and pressed against a parent's skin. Initially, when isolators were first invented, people thought you should just leave them in there alone, so they don't get infected. But then they might not get touched for the first two months of life, which turns out to be disastrous."
Easily enrich your life with more touch!
Try mixing paragraphs with sub-headings of two different sizes (H2 and H3). You can use smaller sub-headings like the one above to make an important point or for quotes that relate to your story.
Ever notice how non-fiction authors love to use quotes throughout their books? That's because quotes are a nice change of page and they lend authority and gravitas to what you're saying.
Similarly, you can use subtle text highlights, text boxes, short paragraphs, sub-headings and other text formatting to draw your reader's eye to important parts of the text. This also helps break up the page, to prevent wall-of-text-syndrome.
Now is the time to TOUCH more . . .
Now : TOUCH, Please!
Now it's time to present your offer as the perfect solution to everything you've been talking about so far in your story.
While we were holding back before, it's now time to be very specific. Talk about your product, what it is, what your customer gets when they purchase. At this point, after all the buildup, your readers really want to know what you have to offer, so don't hold back.
- 1Show a product image: it's always a good idea to have a visual representation of your product. It makes it more tangible and more "real" in your reader's mind.
- 2The power of the points list: use this list to emphasize the most important benefits of your product.
- 3Benefits over features: for every feature your product has, try to translate it into a benefit (i.e. a positive end-result your customer will get).

“Here's what the perfect testimonial looks like..."
“The perfect testimonial looks a lot like this one: it has a heading (this shows the best part of the testimonial), one or two paragraphs of text, an image, a name and (optionally) a role to go along with the name. Also note the use of quotation marks in the testimonial text."
Samantha Allen

“Can you ever have too many testimonials?"
“It's a fair question: can you have too many testimonials?
The answer is: you can, but the problem is usually not the amount but the quality of the testimonials. If you have good, enthusiastic and real testimonials that mention specific details and benefits, don't shy away from adding 10, 15, 20 or even more to the page.
Just don't add a ton of boring or generic testimonials."

About the Author
When selling online, it's easy to forget that people prefer buying things from other people. If there's any element of personal branding in your product, use this section to write a few paragraphs about yourself.
Keep it short, as this page is about your product, not your life story. But a few personal details mentioned here can help build rapport with your reader. It's a reminder that there's a real, trustworthy person behind this product and they aren't buying from a faceless corporation.
It's Time to Start Addressing Your Visitor's Last-Minute Objections
After the first call to action, use testimonials, case studies, more points lists and more text blocks to address all possible objections your visitors may have. Knowing these objections is very important... and you can learn all about them by talking to your customers and visitors. Give them a way to communicate with you and you'll quickly learn what's on your reader's mind as she goes through this page.
This part of the sales page can be a lot longer than it is in this template. There may be many objections that come up and you can address them all. If you dedicate a separate text block or a sub-heading to each one, your visitors can easily find the ones they have on their minds and skip the rest.
Use Sub-Headings Before Every Major Objection You Address
People are risk averse. We dread making a mistake and wasting our time and money on something that turns out to be rubbish. This is the part of the sales page where you can appease all those worries. One of the most important things you must learn about people in your market is what kinds of objections they have, so that you can effectively address them here.
Advantages vs Disadvantages
Here's a section that you can use for many purposes. For example, you can use it to showcase how your solution is better than other solutions out there. Or, compare the problems your reader is facing right now with the great solutions they'll enjoy once they purchase.
